Obituary for Raymond Russell

Raymond was a life long resident of Riverside, was an active and founding member of the Haltom City Rifle & Pistol Club as well as a Life time member of the NRA. Other memberships included a CB Club and a member of the NHRA. His love for drag racing led him to run as the Gotsey & Russell team in 50's & 60's and Brown & Russell from 1970 to 1995. In 1983 he was awarded the All American Funny Car Series Mechanic of the year.  Raymond is preceded in death by his parents D.B. and Elva Russell.  Survivors: His wife of 46 years, Pat; Daughters- Evelyn Kay Law and Jana Lea Laurent and her husband Monty; Grandchildren- Jermey, Randi, Andrew, Emily and Cameron.
