Bill was one of the nicest people I ever met.  During my years as an RO, I was always glad to see hi come through the gate with his gentle smile.During my fustrations of not getting tight groups, I could always count on him for advice.  I'm so thankful that I did get to see him last year and introduce my wife to him.

I talked to Bill a few times at the range.  Although I didn't know him well, he was always a friendly face and a pleasure to see.

Bill Taylor and I server on the board many time together. We have shot together and I have fixed a couple of his guns. Bill was a member when I joined in 1978. we worked with Bill Haws to do a number of thing that benefited the club such as baffles and targets as well as matches to bring out the club members to use the facility. I would see Bill as of late at the range and we would talk and give each other a bad time on our shooting. Bill love to shoot the club bull for score with his rifle as well as his 22 pistol. I will miss him on Tuesdays. This is another very good man I won't be able to talk too for a while. Keep your dedication for shooting and it will bring good time and good friends like Bill Taylor.

Bill Taylor remembered:

At first I couldn’t put a face with his name. When I did I was embarrassed. I immediately recognized

him because of his involvement in all aspects of HCRPC life!! He was helpful without being pretentious, involved without being overbearing. Bill was certainly unpretentious. He was like wallpaper....

functional without being interrupting!! The Club is a better organization because of members like Bill. Thanks, Bill

I met Bill and his wife Evelyn 5 years ago at Tx Health, cardio rehab center.  They were regulars there and we visited weekly. later, I ran into him at the range, and then  there almost weekly for the last 5 years.  Bill had a wonderful dry sense of humor regarding his shooting his modified Ruger pistol.  I didnt realize I was in company of such a celebrity until i saw several of the above memories and comments.  He never spoke of his shooting background, although i did hear a  few Bell Helicopter stories.  He was a good man, i will miss him.
