Born October 14, 1941, in Roseman, Ill., he served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of Martin United Methodist Church. Survivors include his son, Marty Ishmael; brother, Rick Ishmael; and sister, Jane Neece.
