Match setup begins at 7:30 a.m.
Rules
Current NRA Smallbore Rifle and Smallbore Hunting Rifle Silhouette Rules will apply.
Classification
NRA Smallbore Rifle and Smallbore Hunting Rifle Classification System will be utilized in matches. There will be a separate class for ‘Unclassified’ competitors provided there are three or more ‘Unclassified’ shooters present; otherwise, ‘Unclassified’ competitors will compete in the highest available class. This match is open to all.
Entry Fee
Entry Fee will be $6.00 per person, per gun. Unclassified competitors and those without a 2011 Score Book will be asked to purchase one from the stat office for a fee set by NRA.
Course of Fire
Course of fire will consist of ten shots at chickens, pigs, turkeys and rams for a total of forty shots at the prescribed distances, fired in five shot strings with a time limit of two and one half minutes per string. Each competitor will score for the previous competitor. Any competitor knocking down ten straight animals will be allowed to fire at the conclusion of the match for long run records. (Note: Time & conditions permitting, 60 shot matches will be conducted whenever possible.)
Awards
Awards will be given to the high overall winner of the match and to the winners of each NRA classification. High Junior and High Woman awards will be given provided there are at least three competitors in class. Any class with less than three entries will shoot in the next higher class with the highest class of less than three competing for high overall only. High overall winner will not be eligible for other awards.
