Fun match:
(Third Saturday morning every month.)
This is an 'anything goes' match for .22s. (Standard ammunition only please -- no .22 mags or hyper velocity Long Rifle rounds like Stingers that will damage the club targets.) Bring your rifle or pistol, scope or iron sights, and have fun shooting the Hunter's Pistol targets -- the BIG silhouettes! Targets are shot at 40, 50, 75 and 100 meters. This is the perfect match for beginners and kids. (Kids can shoot off sandbags until they're ready to stand up with the big folks!) Use it for learning, for practice, for technique development...or just for FUN! We award only the 1st prize based on score. (Just to keep everyone 'trying'!) Everything else is given as door prizes by drawing -- so anyone can win. Practice begins around 8:30a and the match at 9:30a. It's appreciated if you'll come early and help a bit with setup. Entry fee is $6 adult, $1 junior. Club members competing for their first time shoot for free. Matches are open to the general public, they are not restricted to club members.
