March 2024 Falling Plates

This match we had several of our regular shooter traveling. Those that attended were blessed with an almost perfect day with comfortable temperatures and solid competition. Jay Morgan cleaned the plates and was presented his "I cleaned the plates hat". We have developed a good rhythm over the years and all of the participants had a good time.

MARCH SILHOUETTE MATCH REPORT

Didn’t send out a reminder the week of the match after hearing the weather forecast, didn’t want to scare anyone away - most of the shooters showed with plenty of clothing to keep warm and mud boots for the standing water and mud, luckily no added rain. We had 14 shooters for all the matches combined with three new shooters to the games, with a bunch of faces not seen in awhile. Welcome to come try it again. Next month the club will host a Regional in Smallbore Cowboy Silhouette Rifle and Pistol Cartridge Lever Action Silhouette Rifle on the Second Saturday with practice the Friday afternoon prior. Shooters are signed up from across Texas and other states.
